The Shops at La Cantera is an award-winning open-air shopping center located in the La Cantera district of San Antonio, Texas. You should arrive at 1:30, and absolutely no later than 1:45. The church is a small, historic landmark, so you should arrive early to locate a good seat. The church has a very strict policy about starting on time, which means the wedding party will begin the processional before 2:00 for the bride to enter the aisle exactly at 2:00.


THERE IS NO CHURCH PARKING LOT AND NO RESTROOM AT THE CHURCH. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO LOCATE THESE AMENITIES IN ADVANCE IF YOU SUSPECT YOU WILL NEED THEM. THERE IS A RESTROOM INSIDE THE RIVERCENTER MALL NEXTDOOR, BUT IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO LOCATE IT.

There is no parking lot at St. Joseph Catholic Church, but there is a parking garage next door at the River Center Mall.

There is ample parking at The Calera. You may drive your car directly to The Calera to avoid the hotel valet. The Calera is adjacent to Signature Restaurant at La Cantera Resort & Spa.

The wedding mass will take place indoors at St. Joseph Catholic Church in downtown San Antonio. The cocktail hour will be outdoors and the dinner and reception will be held indoors.

It can get cool in the evenings in the Texas Hill Country. Do not forget to bring a light jacket or sweater to dinner.
